Student Support Officers
The Student Support Officers support all students at Castle View School.
Each year group is assigned an SSO who works closely with the students to ensure their emotional and well-being needs are met.
They are the first point of contact for both students and parents. They analyse attendance data to identify causes and patterns of absence and work with other agencies to improve attendance and support students and their families. Counselling and Mentoring for students is also organised by the SSO.
